Cookies
This site uses only basic functional cookies if the host needs them to keep a page stable, and — when I have a counter turned on — anonymous analytics that do not try to name you. There is no advertising cookie stack and no payment cookie, because there are no payments. I do not use cookies to remarket or follow you onto another site.
A functional cookie might remember that you closed a notice. An analytics cookie, if present, is a rough headcount: that a page was opened, not who opened it. That is the list. If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal I still keep the stack this small.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. In Chrome and Edge look under Privacy and security; in Safari under Privacy; in Firefox under Privacy & Security. Blocking cookies does not hide the essays. A contact email will still send from your own mail app. If you want the formal privacy wording, it is on the privacy page.
