Corridor Rail Notes is personal opinion and general information about train travel as I have met it in the Toronto–Ottawa–Montreal–Quebec City corridor. It is not professional travel advice — not a substitute for the operator’s own rules, not a guarantee that a given winter will behave like the last one I described.

I make no warranties about completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or on-time arrivals. Tracks close. Weather happens. A mid-morning train that was quiet in March may be busy in October. Confirm the live details with the operator if you are making plans. I will not be responsible for a missed meeting or a day that felt different from mine.

The site is informational only. No commercial transactions occur here. There are no tickets or reservations for sale, and no payment forms. I do not process money and I do not hold a place in anyone’s queue. If you reached a card field on some other domain, you left this journal.

Names of railways and stations appear only so a reader can tell which landscape I am talking about. Those trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify services discussed editorially. Editorial mention is not endorsement, partnership, or a licence. I am not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to VIA Rail Canada or any other railway company.

Pages may include honest asides and imperfect memory. I correct factual mistakes when I notice them; impressions stay mine. You may read these pages and share links. Do not copy the text to dress up a booking engine or an ads landing page. Do not imply that I recommend a purchase I never made on this site.
